Samsungs Galaxy Note series wasnt the first line of phablets, but it clearly played the biggest role in popularizing the new smartphone segment that has taken the world by storm. Phones that would have been considered phablets just last year are now the standard for flagship smartphones, and even Apple is getting in on the action next month when it debuts what is expected to be the first of two new iPhones with larger displays . But Samsungs next supersized Galaxy phone might be too big even for phablet fans to carry around. True to its name, the Samsung Galaxy Mega was a massive handset that looked absolutely ridiculous and wasfar too big to use comfortably with one hand or even two. Of course, that wont stop Samsung from launching a sequel, and it looks like the next-generation Mega handset may havejust been pictured and detailed.

myMail becomes most popular alternative email app for Android and iOS

According to data from app analytics company Distimo, the myMail app has passedother options to become the most popular alternative mail app for both Android and iOS, behind only Gmail and Yahoo Mail. Since launching in November 2013, myMail has overtaken popular apps like Mailbox, Cloudmagic, and K-9 Mail, first taking the lead in iOS downloads in March. The latest figures show that the company's focus on design, usability, and mobile-centric email is paying off. It's gained top position in many established markets including the USA, Canada, Germany, France, the UK, Brazil, Japan, India, Spain, Mexico and Australia. In India, Brazil, Mexico and others it has more than twice as many downloads as the next most popular mail app. Dmitry Grishin, CEO and co-founder of Mail.Ru Group, maker of myMail, says, "The future of email is mobile, and we have worked hard to build an app and client that are ready for this future.
